Year 7 Enrolment
Adelaide High School now accepts Year 7 enrolments. Enrolments are limited due to high demand and are available to students living within the school zone.
Adelaide High School shares an enrolment zone with Adelaide Botanic High School, which allows parents within the zone to nominate their preferred city high school. A school zone is a defined area from which the school accepts its core intake of students. Where demand from families living in the shared area exceeds places available, applications will be ranked and if necessary, students may be shared between the two schools. If no vacancies exist, applicants will be referred for enrolment to other neighbouring schools.
The Department for Education runs a whole of State transition process that occurs throughout term 2 of the year prior to the start of year 7. Parents in public primary schools will be provided the necessary registration information from their primary schools. For children enrolled at non-government schools please email questions about enrolment to education.startingsecondaryschool@sa.gov.au.
Each year, Adelaide High School offers entry to a select number of students through our Special Entry Programs. For further information, please read information here.
